Where future makers are encouraged to play, create, and grow.
Building confidence—one project at a time.
Kids don’t just learn how to use tools. They learn how to problem-solve, work with their hands, and create something they’re proud of.
At Makers Workshop, we help young builders develop real-world skills that spark independence, focus, and grit—values parents love and kids carry for life.

we’ve got answers
-
We currently work with kids ages 8–16. This range ensures students can safely use tools, follow instructions, and complete hands-on projects.
-
None at all. Every workshop is designed for beginners. We teach tool safety, basic techniques, and walk students through each step.
-
Safety is the foundation of everything we do. We use age-appropriate tools, teach proper handling, maintain small instructor-to-student ratios, and supervise every step. Our goal is to empower kids while keeping them safe.
-
Our pop-ups and after-school programs are hosted at Brooklyn Apple Academy—a warm, welcoming community space designed for hands-on learning.
-
Every student completes a beginner woodworking project they take home that same day—something they designed, built, and are proud of.

Yes. After-school launches Fall ‘26 (Tuesdays & Thursdays). Pop-ups help families get a preview and reserve interest early.
